Yonas Teshome Seed Enterprise
Yonas Teshome Seed Enterprise was established in 2021 G.c by the former expert for other seed companies and development agents for the government and has been engaged in hybrid maize seed production business using contract farming business model. So far, the company has engaged 300 farmers and produced more than 4404 Quintal of hybrid maize seed and distributed to more than 15,000 smallholder farmers. The enterprise contributed a lot in improving maize productivity and increasing the income of smallholder farmers in West Gojjam Zone Bure Zuria Wereda and wenberema wereda for seed multiplication and Amhara region for distribution.

The lab plays a crucial role in guaranteeing that farmers receive high-quality, certified seeds that optimize crop yield and sustainability.
Final Product Packaging
Once the seeds have undergone comprehensive testing and met the required quality standards, they are carefully processed and packaged to preserve their integrity. Our packaging process is designed to maintain seed freshness, prevent contamination, and enhance shelf life. We use high-quality, eco-friendly materials that protect the seeds from environmental factors such as moisture and pests. Additionally, each package is clearly labeled with essential information ensuring transparency and reliability for farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
